Our Chef, Dan Salesses, has created a fabulous 5-course menu for you to enjoy and its up to husband and wife owners, Ray and Rebecca Alberts to fight to see who can come up with the best pairings for each dish. Rebecca is our Head Brewer and has some new delicious new beer recipes up her sleeve, like our first Belgian Dubbel. Ray will have to call upon his years of sommelier experience – as well as great wines like Adaptation by Plumpjack Winery – if he wants to surpass his wife, who is the reigning champion from last year’s event.
This year, we are going bigger by closing the brewpub to serve 80 lucky guests in a fun and educational setting. Each course will feature one of our house brews pitted against an exquisite wine and it’s up to you to determine which makes for the better pairing. We will start with a reception at 6pm and the first course will start to be served at 6:30. Will Becka continue to reign supreme or will Ray get this year’s bragging rights? Regardless of who is the victor, the real winners will be our guests who get to enjoy a delicious meal.
First Course: Charred Alaskan King Crab Legs – coconut green curry
Second Course: Bohemian Venison Goulash – served over polenta cake
Intermezzo: Basil-Pear Sorbet
Fourth Course: 35-Day Dry Aged Bone-in Prime Ribeye – potatoes gratin, tricolor petite carrots, roasted garlic truffle butter
Dessert: Gram’s Sweet Petals – cinnamon sugar pull-apart cake
